Even With the World

The same plane or line
without break—the linkage
leaving nothing due
seen as an animal crouching.
We might look to storyline—or wings—
showing neither profit nor loss.

Broad, wide entryway
neither uses. Leaving nothing due,
likely as not, a world emerges.
The feeling we repay a visit
is the source of the conceptual “spirit.”
The idea that something is exactly divisible by two.

Shaking cold from bone wings—it vanishes.
